Austin Hill Battles the Nations Best Is Minnesota
The Legends Car Nationals are a place for the best young racers in the county to show theire stuff against the best competition in the US and Canada.  Austin Hill was looking forward to this, but the curve all to his weekend was indeed the cold weather in Elko, MN.   Even as the cold weather played havoc on his race car, Austin came away with a fifth-place finish in the Semi-Pro class.

“We had a really good car at the start of the race and then it got really cold and our car got way too loose,” said Hill.  “I was doing all I could to keep the car up and under we because it was so loose.  It was a good weekend and I really enjoyed the track, it made me think of Cordele and Lanier.”
Austin Hill did take part in the 25-lap Semi-Pro feature on Friday night as well.  In his back-up car, the team tried a few new things looking to gain some speed before the Saturday race.  The set up proved to be no match for their primary car as Hill finished 10th.

Austin Hill will be back in action at Lanier National Speedway (GA) on October 29th.  His brother Dalton Hill will be in action as well in his Bandolero.
