AUSTIN HILL GRABS TWO WINS; DALTON TAKES HOME A TOP FIVE
The start of the summer for Austin Hill couldn’t have gone
any better.  Thursday Thunder at Atlanta Motor Speedway
(GA) got underway with a big field of cars in the Semi-Pro
class.  When the dust settled it was Austin in victory lane.

“We started fifth in the feature and I was up to second after
five laps,” said Austin.  “The car really came to life and I
took the led on lap 18 from Justin Swilling and I hung on for
the win.”

The next night at Lanier Nat’l Speedway all three Legends
classes were run together.  Austin ran hard all night long
and was the highest finishing Semi-Pro racer, but was
beat to the line by a couple of inches for the overall win.
Austin was excited about racing with the faster cars.

“I went side-by-side with Zach Kittle for two laps it was really cool to see that we could run that hard with someone on the outside.”

Younger brother Dalton was also in action at Lanier.  He finished third in his Bandolero Bandit after starting fourth.

Austin Hill will be back in action on Tuesday at Lowe’s Motor Speedway (NC) during the annual Summer Shootout Series.
