Austin Hill Grabs four Top Five Finishes: Dalton Preps for Atlanta
What a different a week can make. The bad luck bug had bitten Austin Hill a week ago disappeared as Austin got a chance to race four times in a week and he made the most of his opportunity. Four top-five finishes at four different tracks in three different states got Austin back on track for runs at track championships at both Lowe’s Motor Speedway (NC) and Atlanta Motor Speedway (GA).
“You know, I just love racing,” said Austin. “I would race every night if we could. It’s just a lot of fun, especially when you’re running good. We had some bad luck the last few weeks, but now things are back on track.”
Austin is currently third in Summer Shootout points in the Semi-Pro division at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. With only three races to go he trails the lead by 53 points.

Things are just as tight in the Thursday Thunder program at Atlanta Motor Speedway as Austin sits just off the lead in second place. The season has been amazing as Austin has logged 14 wins and 41 top ten finishes in 48 starts.
“It has been hard on all of us,” added Austin. “We have run so many races in the past few weeks, I think were all getting a little tired. We just keep on trying to run good and finish up front and the points will just come with the solid finishes.”
Younger brother Dalton took the week off and he will be back in action this coming week at Atlanta Motor Speedway for the next round of Thursday Thunder. Austin will be running at Lowe’s, Atlanta, and Lanier.
