Dalton Runs Well

The Hill Brothers race team took the trip to Indiana for the Bandolero Nationals.  The Young Lions Legends cars were also a part of the program giving Austin Hill a chance to follow up on his recent Summer Shootout Championship.  Austin finished 10th and 3rd before turning up the wick on the final day.

“On Sunday I qualified third and took the lead on lap three and led the rest of the way,” said Austin Hill.  “We were really excited that we got the win.  It really pumps us up to finish the season.”

Austin’s brother Dalton Hill went to the Bandolero Nationals and ran well in his first trip to the Speedrome.  He raced all three nights, but his finishes didn’t reflect the way he ran.  On Sunday he was running seventh when contact with a lap car ended his bid for a potential top-five run.

“We had some problems and I got wrecked a few times,” said Dalton. “I am real proud of my brother he ran really good.”

Both Austin and Dalton will be back in action this weekend at Lanier National Speedway in Braselton, GA.
