Winston, Georgia, native Austin Hill drove a smart race at the World Crown 300 at Gresham Motorsports Park (GA) and he found himself battling for the win in the final laps, only to have a tire going down while running third.  Hill's day ended after he bounced off the turn four wall.  He still managed to post a 18th-place finish despite not being able to complete the full 300-lap distance.

Hill had planned on going to the Snowflake 100 at Five Flags Speedway (FL) in a few weeks, but with a damaged racecar, it appears the Hill Brothers Racing team will be forced to sit out of this year's event. Hopefully the right opportunity will come along and Hill can cash a his ticket to Pensacola for the Snowflake 100.
